Getting Started

1. Create Your First Job

Tap the "New" button on the home screen. Enter client details, service type, and address. You can start documenting work immediately.

2. Take Photos

Document your work with before and after photos. ServiceProof automatically compresses images for fast uploads while maintaining quality.

3. Collect Signatures

Get client approval with digital signatures. Choose between in-person signing or send a remote approval link via email/SMS (Pro feature).

4. Generate Reports

Create professional PDF reports with all job details, photos, and signatures. Send directly to clients via email or text.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's included in the free plan?

The free plan includes 20 lifetime jobs, 25 photos per job, digital signatures, PDF reports, and local storage. Perfect for trying out ServiceProof or occasional use.

How does remote signing work?

With ServiceProof Pro, you can send approval requests via email or SMS. Clients receive a secure link to review photos and sign electronically. Links expire after 48 hours for security.

Can I use ServiceProof offline?

Yes! All core features work offline. Create jobs, take photos, and collect signatures without internet. Data syncs automatically when you're back online.

How are photos stored and compressed?

Photos are compressed to approximately 50KB while maintaining quality. Original photos remain in your device gallery. Compressed versions are stored securely for fast loading.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use enterprise-grade encryption for all data. Local storage is encrypted on your device, and cloud sync uses secure connections. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Can I cancel my Pro subscription anytime?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription anytime through your device's app store settings. You'll retain Pro features until the end of your billing period.

What happens to my data if I downgrade?

Your existing jobs and data remain accessible. You won't be able to create new jobs beyond the free limit or use Pro features, but all historical data is preserved.

Can multiple team members use one account?

Currently, ServiceProof is designed for individual use. Team features are on our roadmap. Each team member should have their own account for now.

Troubleshooting Guide

Camera not working

  • Check app permissions in your device settings
  • Ensure ServiceProof has camera access enabled
  • Restart the app if the camera screen is black
  • Update to the latest version of ServiceProof

Signature not saving

  • Make sure to tap "Save Signature" after signing
  • Try clearing and re-drawing the signature
  • Check that you have storage space available
  • Ensure the client's printed name is entered

PDF report not generating

  • Verify the job has been completed with signature
  • Check your internet connection for cloud features
  • Ensure you have the latest app version
  • Try generating from the job details screen

Sync issues

  • Check your internet connection
  • Pull down to refresh on the home screen
  • Sign out and back in to refresh authentication
  • Contact support if sync pending for over 24 hours
